THE CHALLENGE

Your Instruments Are in the Field. Your Data Shouldn't Be.

Long-term monitoring means instruments deployed on rooftops, construction perimeters, and remote properties. Driving out to collect data or change a setting defeats the purpose of continuous monitoring.

🚗

No more site visits to collect data

Every trip to retrieve recordings costs hours. With cloud reporting, your instruments upload their data on a schedule you define, and it's waiting for you in the dashboard.

⚙️

Reconfigure without physical access

Need to change a threshold or log interval? Submit the new configuration on the instrument's cloud page. It applies automatically at the next scheduled WiFi connection.

Timelines that actually align

Comparing recordings from multiple instruments used to mean fighting clock drift. The cloud resynchronizes every connected instrument to within 1 second of a precise reference clock.

HOW IT WORKS

From Instrument to Dashboard in Three Steps

The cloud service works in synergy with your WiFi-connected instruments and the Instrument Manager software. Setup is a one-time operation per instrument.

1

Connect Your Instrument

Link your WiFi-enabled instrument (NSRTW or VSEW family) to your cloud account using the Instrument Manager software. The instrument then reports its data automatically on the schedule you set.

2

Configure Remotely

Set log intervals, alarm thresholds, and recording parameters from the instrument's configuration page on the cloud. Changes apply at the next scheduled connection — no site visit.

3

View, Download, Report

Open any web browser to view sound and vibration levels, instrument temperature, and battery voltage. Download recordings for deeper analysis with the free desktop tools, or capture graphs as JPEG for your reports.

CAPABILITIES

What You Can Do With the 24/7 Data Collection Solution

📈

Graphical Data Views

View sound levels, vibration levels, or signals for any period of your choice, directly in the browser.

🔔

Alarm Emails

Receive an email when sound level, acceleration, or velocity passes a threshold, or when the instrument's battery falls below its critical voltage.

📡

Over-The-Air Reconfiguration

Change the configuration of a cloud-connected instrument without accessing it physically. Applied at the next scheduled WiFi connection.

💾

Data Management & Download

Manage your instruments and their recorded data (.wlg) files. Download anytime for further processing with the free software tools for WiFi-connected instruments.

🔋

Instrument Health

Track instrument temperature and battery voltage over time. Know a unit needs attention before it stops recording.

📷

Report-Ready Graphics

Capture your resulting graphs in JPEG format and attach them directly to your compliance or engineering reports.

WHY IT MATTERS

Built for Serious Multi-Instrument Monitoring

Precise Time Synchronization ±1 s

The cloud servers are continuously corrected against a very precise time reference. Every instrument that connects is resynchronized to the server time — the cloud effectively realigns the clocks of all your instruments to within 1 second of the reference clock.

Events detected simultaneously by multiple instruments align precisely on their respective timelines, independent of individual clock drift — even on very long recordings. Comparisons and correlations across instruments finally become straightforward.

Configuration Over The Air

Change your recording settings from the instrument's configuration web page: log interval, thresholds, recording parameters. After you submit the new configuration on the cloud, the instrument reconfigures itself at its next scheduled WiFi connection.

No ladder, no site visit, no technician dispatch. An instrument on a rooftop is as easy to manage as one on your desk.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the subscription per instrument or per account?

The subscription is billed per instrument: $210 USD per instrument, per year. Each instrument reporting to the cloud needs its own active subscription.

Which instruments work with the cloud service?

All WiFi-connected Convergence Instruments, including the NSRTW sound level meter family and the VSEW WiFi vibration meter family. The service works in synergy with the instruments, the Instrument Manager software, and this website.

Do I need to install an app?

No. The dashboard works from any standard web browser — nothing to install to view, download, or configure. The one-time initial setup of an instrument uses the free Instrument Manager software, which runs on Windows.

What happens if the instrument loses its WiFi connection?

The instrument keeps recording locally in its non-volatile memory. Recorded data is preserved and can be retrieved once the connection resumes.

Where is my data hosted?

In Canada, by a Canadian company that hosts services for major Canadian corporations. Access is secured by HTTPS, and each account is protected by username and password.

Can I see the cloud service before subscribing?

Yes — we offer live demonstrations by videoconference, guided by an engineer. Book a demo and we'll walk you through a real instrument reporting live data.
